| Quarterly Wine Club Our Quarterly Wine Club is sent out 4 times per year; the months of February, May, August, and November. It usually consists of three bottles which will reflect a discount of at least 25%. Each shipment typically will cost between $40 and $55 depending upon the value of the wine - this includes freight and packaging (sales tax will be added when applicable). | The Next Generation of Latah Creek Wines Some exciting changes in Latah Creek's red wine offerings are here. First, to commemorat our 25th Anniversary, we released a marvelous 2005 Cabernet-Syrah blend. If you enjoy drinking massive reds, then this incredible dark, intensely full-bodied and fruity, mouth-filling red will be just for you!
Second, there is another exciting addition to our wine line is scheduled for release later this year: our first Winemakers' Reserve Red. My daughter, Natalie, and myself have combined forces to make a series of intriguing, small lot, reserve quality wines. This first release will feature a grape that is not very well known and typically not bottled by itself: Petit Verdot. Total production for this limited Reserve release is only 11 barrels; less than 300 cases. Look for future releases of Latah Creek's Winemakers' Reserve Red to include varieties like Nebbiolo, Tempranillo, Malbec, Barbera, Aglianico, and Mourvedre.
| New at Latah Creek Four years ago when we expanded our wine production to a level beyond where we had been for the previous twenty years, it became quite apparent that we needed extra tank space. After debating the issue of whether tanks should be stainless or wood, we finally made the decision - oak. We just installed 5 oak oval tanks - each approximately 675 gallons in size. These new ovals will free up two stainless steel tanks for us during harvest and make our winemaking lives much easier. Although, Natalie and I will miss playing musical tanks!!  These tanks are twenty years old and in fantasic shape; they are gorgeous!
